Choice...I loved this word, I used to like the word change as well but now I am finding that these words no longer mean what they once did as for many words in the english language like tolerance, diversity, love, peace and I am becoming more afraid of how the liberal-progressive movement defines them.
Is "Choice" defined today as " a womans right to choose? A mans choice, certianly not, a child's choice?Whose choice is it?
As far as I can tell from the media Americans enjoy their freedom of choice and some will fight for it, mainly the liberals because most Christians believe that Jesus is coming soon and we shuldn't have to say anything truthful to anyone or get involved in issues that are political...obviously I don't tyink that way.
I do understand that choice to a woman who has an unwanted pregnancy is the ability to choose whether to keep the baby or discard it like an old pair of shoes. Does choice for the woman also mean that they had the choice to take preventative measures to not become pregnant whether it be to refrain from sexual activity or use contraceptives?
Do the unborn children have a choice whether to be born to a selfish woman who thinks of no one but herself?
Or does the freedom of choice act take the choice away from the parent and give the power to the government to do as they see fit controlling the families freedom of choice?
Take for instance Terri Shivo, did the government have the right to starve her to death? Does the goernment have the right to search for a family, Colleen, Anthony and Daniel hauser, put them on a "wanted list" because the family honored the wishes of their son to reject chemo-therapy? Where is their choice?
Is it now that they have the choice whether to be criminals or not in the eyes of the federal government?
So let me understand this...
A pregnant mother has the right to kill their unborn baby/ babies but a mother and her family do not have the right to deny treatment, at the sons choice and are made to be the criminals?
Doesn't it seem strange to anyone that we speak all about choice for womens convenience and KILL our unborn because we lack the self control or were too lazy to take precautions while we deny the unborn child the choice and criminalizing the family who actually gave theirs the choice?
