Legislation shutting out LGBT rights

I am a big proponent of "equal rights" and am saddened when I feel that people have not been treated with equality but I stand in support of the opposition to favor of LGBT rights.

I felt compelled to write this post after reading an article in the BW ( Legislators shoot down LGBT rights, 2/25/09 http://www.boiseweekly.com/gyrobase/Content?oid=oid%3A321446 )to try to give another perspective on why I believe this did not pass.

I consider myself to be a "true conservative" with "true conservative" values. I believe in biblical principles, biblical, civil, moral and natural law. Understanding this it would be impossible for me to consider that someones sexual preference would need legislation claiming that they deserve "equal rights." when it, in fact, it violates all of the laws stated above.

I am aware of the progression of "special interest groups" and have become frustrated that these minority groups feel that they have the right to take something that many still consider to be immoral and try to "force" people to accept it as "moral" and "acceptable" even to the point where they will become all but riotus in pushing their agenda even after amendments, through our Constitutional amendmrent process, have passed( IE: Prop 8). It is difficult for me to fathom a judiciary that would even consider recinding the amendment after it was clear what the people have decided. This to me is unlawful and unconstitutional and also gives aid to "special interest groups".

As Rachael stated in her article " I think it serves to validate the bigotry and hate in this state..."
she goes on to say that "It's a fundamental American concept-equality, humanity..."

Although I agree "equal rights" is considered a fundamental concept, the term "equal rights" in America has never equated to GAy/Lesbian/transgender lifestyles. If we continue to use quotes and terms from our founding fathers and the foundations of America, may I state the words of John Adams and many others :

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." This is the beliefs of our founding fathers."

Moral is defined as:

Or another definition:" is to violate or go outside what is right." The reason why I believe this legislation did not pass is that there are still a large population that believes this is outside the moral boundaries of " right and wrong."

It is difficult for me to accept that just because we oppose this behavior and believe it is immoral does not mean we are hateful. If this is idea holds true would it be ok to say that the GLBT are hateful because they do not agree with the majority, the conservatives or the traditional family values?

Simply put, in my opinion, we live in a nation of laws. biblical law, civil law, moral and natural law. The way I see it is that the progression of these groups is unlawful in every area of law possible.They hit the streets in anger and will continue to push their agenda whether people like it or not which also happens to be, as our founding fathers stated "a violation of individual liberty.

We have arrived at what I believe to be "The cultural divide." Societies throughout history when reaching this point have either fallen into complete moral collapse of society or "A great awakening" has occured, no one willing to succeed, we both view eachother as wrong with no compromise in sight. What happens now? If history fortells the future we have two choices.

"Change" in our english language

Ever wonder where all the new meanings to old words come from? Some of these words according to many sources still mean the same thing but have become "politically incorrect" and therefore have had the meanings changed to minimize offending others to make these words sound more acceptable to society. What a difference 50 years makes.
Here are a few examples:


“Progressives” and “liberals” are Marxists.
“Conservativism” is counterfeit salt.
“Pro-choice” means pro-baby murder.
A “fetus” is an unborn child.
“Tolerance” means acceptance of sin.
“Gays” are sodomites.
“Affirmative Action” is white male discrimination.
An “undocumented worker” is an illegal alien.
The “mainstream media” are Marxists.
The “religious left” are humanistic socialists.
“Social justice” means advancement of homosexuality.
“Reproductive rights” is a buzz word for abortion.
“Sex education” is destruction of natural childhood modesty.
“Economic justice” is welfare.
“Government investment” means taxation.
“Sensitivity” means keep your mouth shut.
“Diversity” validates deviant ways to engage in sex.
A “Republican” is a socialist and a “Democrat” is a communist.
An “expert” is an academician with no practical experience.
“Public education” is atheistic, humanistic indoctrination.
“Separation of church and state” legalizes Christian discrimination.
Supreme Court “decisions” are opinions and are not laws.
“Christianity” is not a religion; it is a kingdom.
“Change” means Communism.

As I still have the right to my "freedom of speech," (for now) I feel that clarification was needed.

IN closing, here are some facts that you may not know, just for an example:

Physicians:
a. The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000.
b. Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000.
c. Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171. (Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health &Human Services)

Guns:
a. The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000.
b. The number of accidental gun deaths per year (all age groups) is 1,500.
c. The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.000188.

Statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.
Should we create legislation to ban doctors?

Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do.

Many people I know, know little about the ACLU if anything and have always thought of them as supporters of traditional American values and the defense of our Bill of rights.This post is to give some information to reveal what many may not know.

The ACLU is considered by many to be considered the "American Communist lawyers united"and for what may appear good reason.

They are known for the removal of prayer, our national motto "In God we trust",
the termination of "God bless America", "Under God" and removal of the oath of offices, removal of the ten commandments, the re-writing of history to deny our Christian heritage, anti-Christian billboards, hatred for the boyscouts, Prohibition of all (christian ) religious displays, dissolution of (Christian) religious clubs and meetings, symbols with biblical references,employment, schools, holidays...CHRISTMAS!! Just to name a few.

With some believing in the "separation of church and state" even though it is a lie, we should still not allow anyone to violate an individuals freedom of religion, giving "favor" to one group over another. Individual liberty is being violated while the ACLU gives favor to "special interest groups" and "other religions."

This nation was founded on the principles of Christianity, if the majority wants to change it then stop hiding it and make it a crime already, but have enough respect for the people to be honest enough to admit where we were at a time in history and that God, indeed was an integral part of our culture.

The "denial" and the preaching of lies to the ignorant is not only dispicable, it is the lowest form of disrespect and lack of integrity I can imagine.

This is not a problem for those who deny our Christian heritage but is a big problem for those who are intelligent enough to know our history. After all according to some references we still have an aproximateely 70% Christian belief while the Atheists make up only aproximatley 1.7% of the population. "Favor to "special interests" anyone?

Many also say that I am being ridiculous when I say that Christians are being persecuted. Can one look at this post and research the court cases and still defend their statement?

What the public does not know is that the ACLU is profiting in these cases by millions of taxpayer dollars as "atorney fee awards" reported by the American legion.

Does the ACLU have the right to call themselves American?

Communist Joseph Stalin said: “America, is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within.”Today, as in the past, we see the ACLU attacking America’s Patriotism, America’s Morality and America’s Spiritual Life".

A coincidence? It would be a stretch to convince one’s self that it is.

10. The ACLU was founded by Communist, with communist ideals, communist goals, and they continue to impose a Communist like agenda on America daily. The founder of the ACLU, Roger Baldwin stated clearly…
My chief aversion is the system of greed, private profit, privilege and violence which makes up the control of the world today, and which has brought it to the tragic crisis of unprecedented hunger and unemployment…Therefore, I am for Socialism, disarmament and ultimately, for the abolishing of the State itself…I seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class and sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal.”

9. The ACLU does not believe in the Second Amendment.
ACLU POLICY “The ACLU agrees with the Supreme Court’s long-standing interpretation of the Second Amendment [as set forth in the 1939 case, U.S. v. Miller] that the individual’s right to bear arms applies only to the preservation or efficiency of a well-regulated militia. Except for lawful police and military purposes, the possession of weapons by individuals is not constitutionally protected. Therefore, there is no constitutional impediment to the regulation of firearms.”ACLU Policy #47

#8. Their outright hatred of the Boyscouts. They are currently doing everything in their power to hurt this organization. They attacked their free speech right to exclude gays, and are threatening schools, and fighting in court to get their charters shut down. The oppose the military supporting them, and will sue the pants off any school that attempts to charter them.

#7. The ACLU are pro-death. Not only is the ACLU Pro-abortion, it’s the ACLU’s top priority. It most definitely takes a backseat to free speech for the ACLU. As a matter of fact, the ACLU has fought against the free speech rights of those that oppose it. If its abortion or euthanasia, as long as its pro-death you can count on the ACLU to support it. The only exception to the ACLU’s pro-death stance, is if it is a convicted criminal; in this case they are against death.

#6. The ACLU advocate open borders. Not only have the ACLU opposed the Minute Men, a group who are simply exercizing their freedom of speech, protesting and stepping up where the government is failing, but they have helped illegals cross the border.

#5. The ACLU is anti-Christian. The list is endless on this one. Under the guise of “seperation of Church and State”, the ACLU have made a name for theirself on being rabidly anti-Christian. This is one area where they are most hypocritical. They oppose tax exemptions for all churches, but fight for them for Wiccans. They are against Christianity in school, but oddly remain silent as our children are taught to be Muslims. Whether its baby Jesus, ten commandments, or tiny crosses on county seals, the ACLU will be there to secularize America, and rewrite our history.

#4. The ACLU Opposes National Security. The ACLU have opposed almost every effort in the arena of national security. From the bird flu to bag searches, the ACLU have been against it. No matter what kind of search someone tries to do to protect people, the ACLU have proved they are against them across the board. Its kind of ironic that they don’t practice the principles they preach.
Take a walk into the NYCLU’s Manhattan headquarters - which it shares with other organizations - and you’ll find a sign warning visitors that all bags are subject to search.

#3. The ACLU Defend the enemy. They have a long history of this one. They defended the P.L.O. in 1985. They defended Quadafi in the 1980’s. And they continue today. They have told Gitmo detainees they have the right to remain silent, as in not talking to interrogators. One issue that really disturbs me is their refusal of funds from organizations such as the United Way that were concerned the money would be used to support terrorism.
In October of 2004, the ACLU turned down $1.15 million in funding from two of it’s most generous and loyal contributors, the Ford and Rockefeller foundations, saying new anti-terrorism restrictions demanded by the institutions make it unable to accept their funds.
“The Ford Foundation now bars recipients of its funds from engaging in any activity that “promotes violence, terrorism, bigotry, or the destruction of any state.”
The Rockefeller Foundation’s provisions state that recipients of its funds may not “directly or indirectly engage in, promote, or support other organizations or individuals who engage in or promote terrorist activity.”

#2. The ACLU supports child porn distribution and child molesters like NAMBLA.
As legislative counsel for the ACLU in 1985, Barry Lynn told the U.S. Attorney General’s Commission on Pornography (of which Focus on the Family President Dr. James C. Dobson was a member) that child pornography was protected by the First Amendment. While production of child porn could be prevented by law, he argued, its distribution could not be.
There is no doubt the The ACLU are perverting the Constitution.

It’s purpose,they claim "IS to challenge governments, to make sure that the Bill of Rights and it’s principles are protected". The American system of government is founded on two counterbalancing principles: that the majority of the people governs, through democratically elected representatives; and that the power even of a democratic majority must be limited, to ensure individual rights.

Majority power is limited by the Constitution's Bill of Rights, which consists of the original ten amendments ratified in 1791, plus the three post-Civil War amendments (the 13th, 14th and 15th) and the 19th Amendment (women's suffrage), adopted in 1920.

The mission of the ACLU is to preserve all of these protections and guarantees:

Your First Amendment rights - freedom of speech, association and assembly; freedom of the press, and freedom of religion.
Your right to equal protection under the law - equal treatment regardless of race, sex, religion or national origin.
Your right to due process - fair treatment by the government whenever the loss of your liberty or property is at stake.
Your right to privacy - freedom from unwarranted government intrusion into your personal and private affairs.


"we work also to extend rights to segments of our population that have traditionally been denied their rights, including Native Americans and other people of color; lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender people; women; mental-health patients; prisoners; people with disabilities; and the poor."
If the rights of society's most vulnerable members are denied, everybody's rights are imperiled.

The ACLU was founded by Roger Baldwin, Crystal Eastman, Albert DeSilver and others in 1920. We are nonprofit and nonpartisan and have grown from a roomful of civil liberties activists to an organization of more than 500,000 members and supporters. We handle nearly 6,000 court cases annually from our offices in almost every state.
The ACLU has maintained the position that civil liberties must be respected, even in times of national emergency. The ACLU is supported by annual dues and contributions from its members, plus grants from private foundations and individuals. We do not receive any government funding.

The ACLU soon established its reputation by defending victims of the harsh Palmer Raids and taking on First Amendment cases having to do with free speech and religious liberty,

Roger Nash Baldwin-co-founder's personality was typical of a 1920s civil libertarian: An ardent pacifist who opposed World War I, he was also a communist for most of his early life, writing a book in 1927 on what he saw as the young Soviet Union's considerable potential to become a shining beacon of human rights. When the emergence of Stalin and the signing of the Nazi-Soviet Pact made it clear that this would not happen, Baldwin denounced communism.

Elizabeth Gurley Flynn 1940 expulsion of Elizabeth Gurley Flynn, a member of the ACLU's Board of Directors who openly belonged to the American Communist Party. The American Communists had by that point favored peace and neutrality in international relations, but this did not matter to Baldwin, who felt--presumably with a convert's zeal--that no Communist could be a civil libertarian. Flynn's removal from the ACLU board, more than a decade before.

Patick Murphy Malin-Malin (1950-63) Malin was phenomenally successful at building membership--from about 8,000 to about 60,000--by creating a powerful network of local ACLU activist communities.He failed to adequately protect Americans targeted by Joseph McCarthy and others during the second Red Scare, and even went so far as to leak private ACLU documents to J. Edgar Hoover in exchange for FBI surveillance information on political affiliations of Board members. Malin had presumably hoped to avoid the embarassment of having any ACLU board members outed as communists by McCarthy.

The defining conflict of the ACLU during the 1950s was between Malin and Corliss Lamont, a member of the ACLU Board of Directors who had written a 1952 book titled The Myth of Soviet Aggression. Although Lamont was not a member of the American Communist Party, he was targeted by McCarthy and received no substantial support from the ACLU.

By the end of Malin's tenure, the ACLU had become a largely irrelevant, moderate force in American policy. Beloved by many but feared by few, it took the correct positions on some issues--most notably filing an amicus brief against school segregation in the landmark Brown v. Board of Education (1954)--but was hardly the fearsome defender of civil liberties that it had once been, and would soon become again.

Then and Now...

As I thank God everyday for the blessings He has bestowed upon this great nation, my family and friends and am grateful He has kept us safe thus far.I can only imagine only for how much longer as I watch, daily in dismay as the foundations of this country and our society crumbling with the majority of people continuing their lives like nothing is any different.

I was checking my email today, as I normally do and an interesting email pertaining to this subject appears. As I read it I thought it was rather funny but suddenly realized this wasn't a joke.

For those who think that things are better now than they ever have been I include this email as a "realitycheck."

HIGH SCHOOL -- 1959 vs. 2009

Scenario 1:
Jack goes quail hunting before school and then pulls into the school
parking lot with his shotgun in his truck's gun rack.

1959 - Vice Principal comes over, looks at Jack's shotgun, goes to his
car and gets his shotgun to show Jack.


2009 - School goes into lock down, FBI called, Jack hauled off to jail
and never sees his truck or gun again. Counselors called in for
traumatized students and teachers.



Scenario 2:
Johnny and Mark get into a fist fight after school.

1959 - Crowd gathers. Mark wins. Johnny and Mark shake hands and end up
buddies.

2009 - Police called and SWAT team arrives -- they arrest both Johnny and
Mark. They are both charged them with assault and both expelled
even though Johnny started it.

Scenario 3:

Jeffrey will not be still in class, he disrupts other students.

1959 - Jeffrey sent to the Principal's office and given a good paddling by
the Principal. He then returns to class, sits still and
does not disrupt class again.

2009 - Jeffrey is given huge doses of Ritalin. He becomes a zombie. He is
then tested for ADD. The school gets extra money from the state
because Jeffrey has a disability.

Scenario 4:

Billy breaks a window in his neighbor's car and his Dad gives him a
whipping with his belt.

1959 - Billy is more careful next time, grows up normal, goes to college
and becomes a successful businessman.

2009
- Billy's dad is arrested for child abuse. Billy is removed to foster
care and joins a gang. The state psychologist is told by
Billy's sister that she remembers being abused herself and their dad goes
to prison. Billy' s mom has an affair with the psychologist.



Scenario 5:

Mark gets a headache and takes some aspirin to school.

1959 - Mark shares his aspirin with the Principal out on the smoking dock

2009 - The police are called and Mark is expelled from school for drug
violations. His car is then searched for drugs and weapons.


Scenario 6:

Pedro fails high school English.

1959 - Pedro goes to summer school, passes English and goes to college.

2009 - Pedro's cause is taken up by state. Newspaper articles appear
nationally explaining that teaching English as a requirement for
graduation is racist. ACLU files class action lawsuit against the state
school system and Pedro's English teacher. English is then
banned from core curriculum. Pedro is given his diploma anyway but ends up

2009 - ATF, Homeland Security and the FBI are all called. Johnny is charged
with domestic terrorism. The FBI investigates his parents --
and all siblings are removed from their home and all computers are
confiscated. Johnny's dad is placed on a terror watch list and is
never allowed to fly again.

Scenario 8:

Johnny falls while running during recess and scrapes his knee He is found
crying by his teacher, Mary. Mary hugs him to comfort him.

1959 - In a short time, Johnny feels better and goes on playing.

2009 - Mary is accused of being a sexual predator and loses her job. She
faces 3 years in State Prison. Johnny undergoes 5 years of
therapy.


Now ask yourself : "Are we more educated learning from our mistakes? Do we have more common sense than years past or have we entered "The twilight Zone?"

The gun ban continues...

Are you ready for the House Bill titled 'HR 45, Blair Holt Licensing and Record Act of 2009'.

It will make it illegal to own a firearm unless it is registered with the database in Washington D.C. As a gun owner you will have to be finger printed, you will be required to provide your DL#, SS#, you must maintain a valid address at all times, submit to mental and physical health records being put on file, you will also be required to file any address changes and any ownership changes even if a private sale.

Each update will cost $25 and if you fail to comply you will lose your right to own firearms. This bill and its language mirror almost completely one defeated last year in the House of Representatives by soon to be Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. Will we the citizenry be as lucky this time?

Criminals by definition and nature do not abide by laws. New laws and restrictions only apply to the law abiding citizen and are not written with the criminal in mind. With guns, it is not about having laws on the books to prosecute individuals, it is about taking guns away from the people so that no one has them in the first place.

When assuming power and creating a facist state, Hitler was a proponent of strong gun laws because a disarmed populace was much easier to control than an armed one. The kings of old also outlawed weapons of any kind in any region that they conquered to quell the ability of the citizens to uprise against them.

The Founding Fathers of this nation understood all of the above and because of this they included the second amendment in the constitution. In fact, they knew that at some point in every society's life span that the need for the population to arise came about. To this end they made the right to keep and bear arms against a tyrannical state an absolute right that could not be revoked.

They did this because the first thing tyrants and despots do is to remove a population's right to defend themselves When this is done, the tyrants have no problem with the destruction of society as we know it.

Prescribes firearms transfer reporting and record keeping requirements. Directs the Attorney General to establish and maintain a federal record of sale system.

Prohibits:
(1) transferring a firearm to any person other than a licensee, unless the transfer is processed through a licensed dealer in accordance with national instant criminal background check system requirements, with exceptions;
(2) a licensed manufacturer or dealer from failing to comply with reporting and record keeping requirements of this Act;
(3) failing to report the loss or theft of the firearm to the Attorney General within 72 hours;
(4) failing to report to the Attorney General an address change within 60 days; or
(5) keeping a loaded firearm, or an unloaded firearm and ammunition for the firearm, knowingly or recklessly disregarding the risk that a child is capable of gaining access, if a child uses the firearm and causes death or serious bodily injury.

Prescribes criminal penalties for violations of firearms provisions covered by this Act. Directs the Attorney General to:
(1) establish and maintain a firearm injury information clearinghouse;
(2) conduct continuing studies and investigations of firearm-related deaths and injuries; and
(3) collect and maintain current production and sales figures of each licensed manufacturer.
Authorizes the Attorney General to certify state firearm licensing or record of sale systems.

Many people do not believe we should have the right to own guns and believe this kind of legislation is "good common sense." I trust that these same people are for government programs, abolition of private property and "spreading the wealth...The same people who desire "Socialism " as "Change" and support the destruction of "free market capitalism", the Constitution and the large government that promises a better life for it's citizens, and to do a better job that the individuals themselves...These people, the ignorant, the Godless and the "Lawless."

Who I once considered "ignorant" now believe are "stupid!" I hope this is not the case. For I was once told that the difference between ignorant and stupid was the ability to learn.

Is there a "Rapture?"

I have been a Christian for almost 18 years and I have as many unanswered questions as anyone but one, in particular, I have wanted to know for sometime and thought I would share it with anyone who would be interested. This was written by my best friends Baptist pastor:

Why the Rapture?
70 Weeks of Daniel
To understand the purpose for the Rapture, one must get a foundation for the 70 weeks of Daniel. This is found in Daniel 9:23-27.


I. To Whom is this Prophecy Given (9:24)
a. Here is the crux of the whole issue; this part must be settled to understand the rapture.
b. Notice who this is for
i. Thy people – Daniel was a Jew, this is specifically given to the Jewish nation
ii. Thy Holy City – specifically referring to Jerusalem


II. The 70 week program
a. Grammatically this is literally “70” – “7”s – or “70 groups of 7s” (the word “weeks” means “sevens”)
b. Historically, this refers to years – so this is another way of saying 70x7 years = 490 years
c. Broken up into two parts (25)
i. 7 weeks or 49 years
ii. 62 weeks or 434 years


d. Start of the first 7 weeks (25)
i. From the going forth of the commandment to restore and build Jerusalem – This decree was given in 445 BC under Artaxerxes (Nehemiah 2:1-8)
ii. Unto the Messiah shall be 7 weeks, and sixty and two weeks – or a total of 69 (weeks)
iii. The street and the wall shall be built in troublous times – refers to the rebuilding of Jerusalem within the first 49 years (Ezra/Nehemiah)
iv. After threescore and two years, the Messiah shall be cut off – Jesus was going to die after the 69th week. (The first 7 + the 62 =69) (v26)
v. After Jesus’ death, the people of the prince = Romans – shall come and destroy the temple (this happened in 70 AD under Titus) – then it says war and desolation are determined (this speaks of the turbulent history of Israel which we see today) (v26)
e. The last 7 weeks (27)
i. He shall confirm the covenant with many (meaning “the many” referring to Israel) for one week


1. Notice, this refers to the 70th week, the first 69 weeks or 483 years are accounted for in history. The 69th week literally was accomplished the day of the Triumphant Entry -5 days before His death.

2. For the sake of argument, Jesus died somewhere around 30 AD, but the temple was not destroyed until 40 years later…what happened to the consistency of the 70 weeks?

3. It appears from the time the Messiah was cut off (the death of Jesus Christ) until “he (antichrist) makes a covenant with many (meaning Israel)” – there is an undetermined amount of time – for we know from history that this covenant has never taken place with Israel
ii. The answer (Ephesians 3:3-12)


1. The “Church Age” – the church is a mystery (unknown to men in the Old Testament), this fits perfectly into God’s scheme – after the 69th week, there was a transition from the Old Testament to the New – on the Day of Pentecost, the church became empowered by the indwelling Holy Spirit.

2. This placed God’s dealing with Israel (the 70 weeks) on hold for awhile (Romans 11)
3. The church is separate from Israel (I Corinthians 10:32)
4. Therefore, the church will not be around during the 70th week of Daniel, this is specifically a prophecy for Israel – God has set Israel aside to conduct the church age – when the dispensation of the church age is done – He will again deal with Israel.
5. So God is going to “snatch up” or “rapture” the church before the Tribulation period begins
6. The church is said to be spared going through the tribulation period or God’s wrath (I Thessalonians 1:10; 5:1-11 esp. v9; Rev. 3:10)


Other Arguments for the Rapture

1. I Thessalonians 4:18 – the rapture is spoken of by being a “comfort”, knowing and anticipating of us going through the Great Tribulation does not provide comfort for me

2. Christians are told to live with their eyes focused on Christ because He can return at any time – if we were to go through the Tribulation period, we know it is only going to be seven years – this is not expecting the imminent return of Christ (Romans 8:23, I Cor 11:26 (till He comes, implys He may come back in their life time), II Cor 5:2 (believers are clothed with this new body at the rapture), Gal 5:5, Phil 3:20,21; 4:5; I Thess 1:9,10; Titus 2:13; Hebrews 9:28; 10:37; James 5:7-9; I Peter 4:7, I John 3:1-3; Jude 21; Revelation 3:11, 22:7,12,20) – some other passages implying Christ’s soon return Matthew 24:42-44; Mark 13:32-37; Luke 12:36

3. The structure of the Book of Revelation – chapters 2 & 3 – the church is seen on earth, chapters 4 & 5 – the saints are now in heaven; chapters 6-19 deal with the Tribulation period with no mention of the church at all on earth.

4. The tribulation period will not begin until the man of sin (the antichrist) is revealed (II The 2:3). However the man of sin cannot be revealed until the restrainer is removed (II Thess 2:7,8). The best answer for the restrainer is: The Holy Spirit as He indwells believers, once these purifying saints are removed – the antichrist can now enter the scene.

5. The tribulation period is distinctly Jewish in nature. It is called the time of Jaco (Jer 30:7), in Matthew 24 – (v14) the gospel if the kingdom is preached (this is different than the gospel of Christ, the Gof the Kingdom refers to the Messiah ruling on the earth, the Gof Christ refers to His death, burial, and resurrection – they are very closely knit – but the Jews are looking for the Messiah to come and reign on this earth, not knowing or recognizing that Jesus had to suffer for sins first); (15) Abomination of desolation refers to the 70th week of Daniel where the antiChrist makes himself to be God and worshipped in the Temple, holy place (refers to the Temple, which is currently destroyed); (16) talks about Judea, (20) refers to the Sabbath day; (22) elect sake = Israel – these are all Jewish statements and have nothing to do with the Church.

6. The Old Testament typology represents the Rapture:
a. Enoch before Noah’s flood (Noah representing the Jews going through the tribulation)
b. Lot getting taken out of Sodom before the judgment would fall
c. Abraham offering Isaac is a picture of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ; The first time Isaac is mentioned after this incident is in connection to meet his bride and take her home.


d. Daniel was missing during the time of the trial of the three Hebrew men – where Nebuchadnezzar was a prefigure of the antichrist – Daniel represents the church, the three Hebrews represent Israel
e. Even Elijah being taken up before judgment fell on Jezebel

"This is not exhaustive, and it has a lot for us to think about. However, I believe the rapture of the church is clearly presented in scripture, by types, prophecy, testimony, and illustration. I know this is a difficult subject, but it is the conclusion that I have come through my studies".


I am not saying that I believe what is written here, but I posted it so that it may give a perspective on what and how deep this subject really can be to those who believe it.

Star spangled banner

I attended a swim meet this evening and as most events, it began with the Star spangled banner.

I honor this tradition as it brings tears to my eyes everytime I sing it. I still get tears during the song but lately the tears have been for a different reason. As we begin to put our right hand over our heart after removing our hats, I look around to see the blatent disrespect and dishonor of those who do not remove their hats, place their hand over their heart or do not even have the decency to silence themselves and/or their children.

It is becoming so clear to me that we no longer respect our country, our traditions, our history, or eachother. It makes me often wonder if we as a nation are this divided now, what makes anyone believe "The great unifyer" ,who says he reaches across party lines, in the name of bipartissanship one minute and lies the next, will bring us together. Together all right, we will be looking at a civil war in this country in the not too distant future, that is where we will stand together...ON OPPOSITE SIDES!!! TOGETHER AS IN WITHIN CLOSE PROXIMITY BUT NOT UNITED IN THOUGHT!!

We are losing our country. We are losing ground to the government everyday.Each day that passes we become closer and closer to full totalitarianism...Communism. It brings tears in my eyes that many cannot see it, We have become so selfish, and accustomed to immedicate gratification that we are willing to go into debt for generations, robbing our childrens inheritence, thinking that if we throw money at a problem it will go away.

I hear many on the radio that some people want Socialism.They believe those who are "free market" are greedy and inhumane. This kind of garbage is precisely the ignorance I speak of. When in history has Socialism worked and created wealth and prosperity? When has socialism maintained the liberty and freedom that we have enjoyed for centuries without big government oppression? These "Obamanites" believe that Free market capitalism has failed only because they listen to the media without doing any research on their own to discover that they have been lied to. Sadly, those who believe this are ignorant in the facts and lack any understanding of economics and history.

It is difficult living day by day knowing their are people who live in this great country wanting to change it to something less than it's design and bring down others, like myself with them. Those who spit on our sacrifices and our history and dispise the "American way" disrespecting our laws and manipulate our legal system should be treated for "treason" as they did in the early days.

How long until it will be illegal to sing our national anthem? Our Constitution has been dessumated and our judicial system and government are beyond corrupt and the hits keep on coming.

Oppostion is coming my friends, IT IS COMING. The civil war is coming unless the tyranny stops. All through history, civil war has broken out when any country has faced what is coming our way.

Is America committing suicide?

It appears that either I may not be getting the message out effectively enough through my posts due to content or accuracy of information. In either case, this may help clarify things as they stand now from someone who may know better than I do.

Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Democrats: 19 Republicans: 29
Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000 Republicans: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million Republicans: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Democrats: 13.2 Republicans:2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Republican won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years and guiarantee a dictatorship not much more.

America's continued denial of radical Islam

President Barack Obama has signed an executive order presidential determination allowing hundreds of thousands of Palestinians to resettle in the United States.

Sure, what can go wrong when we allow hundreds of thousands of people who have been, as Mark Steyn memorably described, "marinated" in a "sick death cult," who voted for Hamas, and 55% of whom support suicide bombings live here and at theAmerican taxpayers' expense:

By executive order, President Barack Obama has ordered the expenditure of $20.3 million in migration assistance to thePalestinian refugees and conflict victims in Gaza.

The "presidential determination" which allows hundredsof thousands of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in theUnited States was signed on January 27 and appeared in the FederalRegister on February 4.

President Obama's decision, according to the Register,was necessitated by "the urgent refugee and migration needs" of the"victims."Few on Capitol Hill took note that the order provides afree ticket replete with housing and food allowances to individuals whohave displayed their overwhelming support of the Islamic ResistanceMovement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006.

Let's review some of Barack Obama's most recent actions since he was inaugurated a little more than three weeks ago:

His first call to any head of state as president was to Mahmoud Abbas,leader of Fatah party in the Palestinian territory.*

His first one on one interview with any news organization was with Al Arabia television..*

He ordered Guantanamo Bay closed and all military trials of detainees halted.*

He ordered all overseas CIA interrogation centers closed.*

He withdrew all charges against the masterminds behind theUSS Cole and 9/11.*

Today we learn that he is allowing hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refuges to move to and live in the U.S. at American taxpayer expense. Anyone else see a pattern here ?

The American economy and illegal immigration

Our founding fathers warned us about the dangers of multiculturalization and the socio-economic implications it would have on every level.

30) A gun-owner is far more likely to be killed in a car accident or by drowning in a swimming pool or by a physician's mistakes than from owning a gun.

WASHINGTON - Because it has abandoned moral absolutes and its historic Christian faith, the U.S. is moving closer to a Nazi-style totalitarianism, warns a former German member of the Hitler Youth.

"Every day brings this nation closer to a Nazi-style totalitarian abyss," writes Hilmar von Campe, now a U.S. citizen, and author of "Defeating the Totalitarian Lie: A Former Hitler Youth Warns America."

Von Campe has founded the national Institute for Truth and Freedom to fight for a return to constitutional government in the U.S. - a key, he believes, to keeping America free.

"I lived the Nazi nightmare, and, as the old saying goes, 'A man with an experience is never at the mercy of a man with an argument,'" writes von Campe. "Everything I write is based on my personal experience in Nazi Germany. There is nothing theoretical about my description of what happens when a nation throws God out of government and society, and Christians become religious bystanders. I don't want to see a repetition. The role of God in human society is the decisive issue for this generation. My writing is part of my life of restitution for the crimes of a godless government, of the evil of which I was a part."

Von Campe grew up under the Nazis, served in the Hitler Youth and fought against the Red Army in the Yugoslavian theater as a tank gunner in the German army. He was captured at the end of the war and escaped five months later from a prisoner of war camp in Communist Yugoslavia."It took me a long time to understand and define the nature of National Socialism," says von Campe. "And, unfortunately, their philosophy continues to flourish under different labels remaining a menace to America and free human society."

He writes: "The most painful part of defining National Socialism was to recognize my own moral responsibility for the Nazi disaster and their crimes against humanity. It boiled down to accepting the truth that 'as I am, so is my nation,' and realizing that if every German was like me, it was no wonder that the nation became a cesspool of gangsters. This realization is as valid today for any person in any nation as it was then, and it is true for America and every American now."
Von Campe's message is that political freedom and democratic rules alone are not sufficient to govern humanity justly.

"Democratic procedures can be subverted and dishonest politicians are like sand in the gearbox, abundant, everywhere and destructive," he writes. "What I see in America today is people painting their cabins while the ship goes down. Today in America we are witnessing a repeat performance of the tragedy of 1933 when an entire nation let itself be led like a lamb to the Socialist slaughterhouse. This time, the end of freedom is inevitable unless America rises to her mission and destiny."

Von Campe says he sees spiritual parallels among Americans and his childhood Germany.

"The silence from our pulpits regarding the moral collapse of American society from within is not very different from the silence that echoed from the pulpits in Germany toward Nazi policies," he explains.

"Our family lived through the Nazi years in Germany, an experience typical of millions of Europeans regardless of what side they were on.

We paid a high price for the moral perversions of a German government, which excluded God and His Commandments from their policies. America must not continue following the same path to destruction, but instead heed the lessons of history and the warning I am giving."

Specifically, von Campe warns Americans their political leaders are on the wrong footing, "denying our cultural and traditional roots based on our unique Constitution and Christian orientation as a nation. Christians don't understand their mission.

US States Declaring Sovereignty - Challenging Federal Excesses

Patriots,It appears America's freedom loving masses are beginning the march back to Republic principles, stripping the greedy, self-serving politicians of the Federal government of their pork barrel.

While the incestuous political apparatus of the national system has been concentrating on filling their trough to overflowing with "stimulus" funds for their benefactors for decades, America has finally concluded the "out of control" federal government must be challenged, and stripped of constitutional excesses.

Several US States have now claimed sovereignty under the United States Constitution 10th Amendment...New Hampshire, Missouri, Washington, and Arizona are in various stages of declaring their sovereignty from usurpation levied by the federal government in violation of the US Constitution.

More to come on this but essentially several States have/are giving notice they will no longer accept federal levies, statutes, demands, etc. from the Federal Government that infringe on States Rights, as enumerated in the US Constitution.

Patriots from all States have been sounding a serious alarm for at least a decade over the US Federal Government exceeding it's Constitutional authority that has been occurring for decades...it has finally reached a point where America has been driven to servitude by a greedy, ruthless oligarchy controlled by the few....citizens have been searching for the "national movement" that will rein-in the Federal Government...Thank God it is surfacing in our US State legislatures.

Now, that many courageous States Rights legislators are standing up for Republic principles, it's up to us........it's up to the citizens that have been denied rightful representation to rise up in support of our State legislators who are "standing in the gap" for citizens who have had no voice for too long.....The next step is up to us.......to demand my State, your State to take the same action.......will you do it?

Public school and parental involvement

Have you ever wondered why the family unit is declining, why more children are in trouble, have disfunctional marriages, can't keep jobs, and the list of the "entitlement crowd" continues to rise?

I have the priviledge to meet with representative Steven Thayn and others on occasion to share ideas on why we believe this is happening. Although we do not or will not claim to save every aspect of society, we have, however focused on what we believe will be a great benefit to strengthening the family. The interaction,flexibility and increased parental involement of their child's education will increase the productivity,boost their self esteem wanting to be more successful, and save tax payer dollars cutting down significantly on wasteful government spending.

Have you ever thought about how much liberals care for children in general? They always speak about increasing the control of government to deal with these issues. Is it truly the governments responsibility to educate and care for our children or is it the job of the parents.?

I have tried to find state and federal policies that increase the time parents have to spend with their children or increases parental responsibilities. I haven’t found any yet. Steven further states:

I am developing a hypothesis that disturbs me which is government policies that decrease parent-child time together receives support while there are no policies that increase parent-child time. Maybe there is a reason why parental involvement and parental responsibility is declining. It may be an unintended consequence of well-meaning programs by the state and federal government.


[i] Federal welfare programs such as CHIP increase the role of the federal government into the role of the family. The child becomes more dependent upon the government which indirectly may lead to a weakening of the parent-child relationship. The child may come to see the government as more important than the parent.


It appears, just from the few examples given, that the liberal/ media group either do not, in fact, care for their children or are to selfish to take time from their schedules to take on the responsibility of raising that child.

Shifting the responsibility from the parent to the government is not only financial burden but added responsibility in an area that government was never to be in the first place.

Should we then remove the possibility of parents having children and give that to the government as well, cutting out the middle man?

It is the responsibility, not a liability and the tremendous blessing, not a curse, to have the priviledge of being involved with our children, we all know they grow up so quickly,why are we so quick to relenquish this time to strengthen the family while we have the opportunity?

State sovereignty and our new administration

Many people of whom I come in contact with, believe in the new administration and believe it will be good for the country, I happen to STRONGLY dissagree. If his administration continues like it has for his first two weeks we will be destroyed.
I think There are others whom agree with me, If they didn't why do you suppose the are declaring sovereignty?

It is time (really……..NOW IS THE TIME) to “make noise” and raise awareness of the encroachments upon our liberties. Communicate your concerns to any and all police, fire, Homeland Security, and military (especially) personnel. Express your observations that there are DOMESTIC ENEMIES OF OUR CONSTITUTION who are attempting a coup. The banking crisis is designed to hurt about 99% of us while benefitting 1%--and keep the people struggling/distracted so that the takings of liberty and property are mostly overlooked.

Don't you find it ironic that some of these are democratic states?

Pro-life memorial and the homosexual

This happened in february but it had such a profound effect on me I had to post.

I had help to organize a pro-life memorial ceremony one cold evening. This ceremony was related to the "pot bashing" ceremony in Jeremiah 19.


This event occured at an abortion doctor's office after hours where we had bagpipers play "Amazing grace' and prayed over the area in which we were standing in hopes that Gods divinity would in some way affect this doctors heart, to have him open his eyes to what he is doing and terminate his desire in killing of innocent babies for profit and convenience.

We began with the bagpipes and the sound echoed thru the streets, magnificently they sounded, when it began snowing, almost surreal. As we were enjoying the sounds a man seemed to come out from nowhere and began asking questions. He asked what we were doing and why. We preceeded to tell him and he quickly became offended, he clearly did not agree and intermittently raised his voice in opposition. He claimed he was "Pro-choice" and continued with his verbal disturbance.


As I began to listen to him speak, a feeling like nothing I had ever experienced came over me.


I had never known a homosexual before, exept in school and I didn't know it until after we had graduated so I never really knew how I would act. I had written in blogs and emails to people about how I had such a difficult time with that lifestyle and suffered through being denied by many friends for sharing my beliefs, feeling as if I am the only one who finds this way of life troubling and being called a 'hatemonger" and "intolerant",I could have been angry, after all , everyone tells me that I am , I didn't now how I would act if I had thought about it.


As the ceremony contined, we all began speaking about our perspectives and He asked if the group of us would be interested in joining him in his home.

We spent several hours debating and laughing about our differences and even though it would seem that we made no difference in his life we had hoped we had.

I guess what I am saying is that I realized more than ever that although I can "hate" choices people make such as their lifestyle it doesn't mean that I hate the person who has chosen to live that way.

It pains me to think in today's culture that we can be perceived to hate one another when in fact we do not. Sure there are cases where "hate"may exist but no amount of legislation will stop that, in effect it may make it worse. I was happily surprised that I felt nothing but a kind of brotherly love that I never thought possible.

I just felt the need to post about this and let you know that I believe we have befriended eachother and respect eachother as humans with different beliefs. He respects my freedom to preach and I respect his right to choose even though I disagree with his choices. I have spoken and shared my views of opposition as he has and we not afraid to do so but to me... the rest is in God's hand.

To my new friend, thank you for a new learning experience, learning about you and especially about me.

Conversation with a stranger

I spent the last few days engaged in email correspondence with someone I met through a "cause "on facebook. This dialogue was so typical in it's content between the liberal and the conservative viewpoints ,but the man, eloquent in his speech and vocabulary, appearing intelligent in so many ways was relentlessly condescending, rude, arrogant and disrespectful and still intriguing.

While sharing my beliefs, he is not only quick to disagree, become disrespectful but insist that I am the one who is "intolerant." He then continues the email blasts almost as if I may have struck a chord , ridiculing my biblical and Christian worldview and my belief on the foundations of this country and our framers; the founding fathers.

He insists that the "intolerant" need to be removed from the "tolerant" and in that, the world will become a more "tolerant" place to live. I am amazed daily at the lack of perspective they have when they continue to bash my beliefs and those like me trying to enforce theirs on me. If he views intolerance, which he does, the fact that I refuse to accept his ideology, would he be considered any different? ( see previous post on the definition and origination of tolerance)

The fact that he cannot see that he spews "hatred and disgust" for my beliefs is yet another reason why those who claim victory in "tolerance" are living in a lie.

My conversations with this man were related to the fact that this country was founded "to further Christianity" from all the books I have read. As a matter of fact many founders said it themselves, many presidents through history and as well as the supreme court in 1789( date is an aprox ).

He did however surprise me about Thomas Payne and his writings of "Common sense" which I had to retreat a bit only because I had never read it. I only knew of his admiration for "Almighty God" through the quotes I have from Payne.

My explanation to him was that regardless of the fact that some may have been agnostic or diests or in transition one way or another, they all shared the same beliefs, in that, forming this great nation, they all shared reverence for "Almighty God" and acknowledged that it was only through his divine providence that this country would continue to reap the blessings of His kingdom.

Regardless of whether what I had written is true or not ( I assure you to the best of my knowledge it is)
I still have the right to my own worldview without being subjected to a tireless tirade of Psychobable.

It is important to know the history of where we came from and why we are here, to do our best to educate ourselves and our children on the facts. So when people tell you that Christianity had nothing to do with our history, and feed you endless words that few would understand,rest assured, you are being lied to, lied in our science books, history books, TV , radio and even in many churches.

No matter how much they fight to remove God from every facet of society it will never happen because God is in control and his judgment is upon us.

Although he and I, we dissagree significantly, I still have great respect for him for his passionate desire and his quest to educate himself while so many others could care less.

May God bless this man and may He help us all come to an understanding on the best way to live in peace with one another, His love, His grace and His mercy, the only way to true peace.

It boggles my mind to think of the progressive nature of the homosexual movement and the support they receive across the country on what used to be considered immoral and unlawful and we appear to be powerless aginst it.

Would it be strange to have rented a conference room in a hotel for your wedding that you knew only days before may have been used for "Pig sex" or vile sexual perversions? It makes me now think of what kind of bacteria we are exposed to knowing that many hotels do not clean their rooms as they should no matter what happens. I think most of us understand the hetero bacterial possibilities but now in addition I am forced to think of the fecal issues associated with this lifestyle. Maybe there is something I am unaware of as far as the cleanliness issues.

Can you imagine what would happen if heterosexual couples decided to promote such an event?I have never heard of it being done which to me would indicate some level of privacy over the public intoxication that we receive everyday for the "forced acceptence" of a lifestyle of which I and many other Americans do not agree.

I can understand that homosexuals want freedom to express, to be treated fairly etc but why does it seem like they are "hell-bent" on cramming it down our throat? Do they realize that there are other people of whom will never agree with their lifestyle? It DOES NOT MEAN THAT WE HATE THEM, WE ONLY DISAGREE WITH THE LIFESTYLE IN WHICH THEY HAVE CHOSEN AND WE HAPPEN TO BELIEVE IT IS HARMFUL TO THEIR HEALTH.

Do they realize that their may be children present in the same hotel while this is going on and that others may feel this behavior is not something that they chose to expose their children to?
Do they not have that right?

Do the people who disagree with this lifestyle have the right to their own opinions? I guarantee you, whomever reads this article will spout about how hateful I am for not agreeing with this lifestyle. We are entitled to our own opinions, YOU AND I.

Should children and people in opposition have to see these behaviors if they chose not to?Is this not a violation of our personal liberty?

Why is it that cities promote this behavior in our streets with full support of governors and others in leadership?Think it isn't happening? try again:

If I were to make love to my wife in a public park, I would be arrested for a variety of crimes. My son, when I travel is now fearful thet he may walk into a public bathroom with two men having sex in a public stall, should he FEAR going into a public restroom?

And finally, Why is it that the heterosexuals don't find it necessary to have a Hetero-pride day?
