Patriots Unite or "as the patriots so is the nation"

United we stand, Divided we fall, remember that phrase?  What was does it mean and where did it come from? I see it in scripture in Mark Chapter 3, verses 23-24 “if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand, and if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. I also found in Aesop’s Fables relating to the strength of a bundle of sticks, that it is easier to break the single stick than the bundle.

Today in America, Is it truly possible to unite? Can we as supposed “free thinkers” find commonality in a sea of relativism, where we have all been taught that we are all entitled to our own truth and our own reality?

Revisionist history will tell us that our Founding fathers didn’t agree on anything. You will hear that they were irreligious Freemasons, and that some were even homosexual. If this was true how did they define freedom, liberty, morality, honor and integrity, establish a uniform law and how did they come together to sign our most famous documents?

Although people, by nature, will disagree on many issues, I believe the influence of moral, political, societal relativism and the revision of our English language has only made it worse.

What does “unity” mean to you and how do you define “division” Do you find your strength in one or the other?  Can your idea of freedom mean someone else’s bondage?

It is my belief that history is not only a blessing from God, that if we remain vigilant, we can learn not to repeat our mistakes, but it clarifies direction as Ben Franklin describes “a nation that knows not where it’s been knows not where it is going”

I have been politically active for about 4 years now.  What I have seen among many groups appears to be an attempt to find unity in division and the reason to me is clear, we lack a moral consistent foundation. I believe the cause to be the government indoctrination and conditioning process of “relativism” rather than the education and understanding  who we are in history.

Whether people choose to believe it or not, Our Nation was founded on Biblical law. Those of influence like William Blackstone, John Locke, First Chief Justice John Jay and many others believed the Bible was the cornerstone of American Liberty and the evidence is overwhelming if one would just look. A few examples are:

The First Charter of Virginia, granted by King James I, on April 10, 1606 stating:  “for the Furtherance of so noble a Work, which may, by the Providence of Almighty God, hereafter tend to the Glory of his Divine Majesty, in propagating of Christian Religion to such People, as yet live in Darkness and miserable Ignorance of the true Knowledge and Worship of God…”

Thomas Jefferson said “In questions of power, let us no more be heard in the confidence of man”

Or Abigail Adams that said: “A patriot without religion in my estimation is as great a paradox as an honest Man without the fear of God. Is it possible that he whom no moral obligation binds, can have any real Good Will towards Men? Can he be a patriot who, by an openly vicious conduct, is undermining the very bonds of Society? ... The Scriptures tell us "righteousness exalts a Nation."

The point I am trying to make is that truth is not relative and we have become part of a conditioning process that was intended to create division. We are not free to believe that America, God, Law or Freedom and Liberty are whatever we think they are without consequences and it is impossible to have freedom and liberty apart from knowing where the source of freedom comes from. If the source of freedom is subjective, so is that freedom. If freedom is subjective to man’s interpretation then freedom is subject to change which is why our written established foundation is so important.

There are only two governing entities, God and man. If we are American Patriot’s and fond of our heritage, we understand the principles of freedom and that our Rights are given to us by God, that these rights are inalienable which means that no man can take them away and that government was created to protect your rights not to dictate them. If we deny God’s existence, we have not only denied the intent our documents, but allowed man to dictate what rights are, that change over time, as history confirms leads to tyranny.

So, as we ponder unity and what it means to us, let us consider the options.  Two antiquated consistent written uniform laws, the second built upon the first, the Bible and the constitution teaching, supporting and guaranteeing freedom to the people under God’s supreme Authority or the other, a random ever changing, living and breathing documentation of man’s return to bondage under the authority of man.

Patrick Henry used the phrase in his last public speech, given in March 1799, saying “Let us trust God, and our better judgment to set us right hereafter. United we stand, divided we fall. Let us not split into factions which must destroy that union upon which our existence hangs.”

I’m not standing here to tell you or force you to believe the way I do, I am only stating the consequences of what is clearly documented in man’s history for our failure to remain vigilant.

As I stand before friends and patriots tonight, I humbly ask for your support as I run for Idaho State Senate, in District 11 Canyon County to stand against the forces of tyranny in an effort not to necessarily write legislation but to have others consider what I call “reverse legislation” where we discard the decades of imposed restrictions upon the people.

It is time to take back our inherent authority,

Its time to take back our freedom

And it’s time to take back our country for ourselves and our posterity!
